The shuttle bus picked us up at 10am to go to the Dubai Mall. One of the attractions of the trip was that it stopped at the Atlantis Hotel Resort on the Jumeirah Palm. Its an interesting area, with "fronds" instead of streets.
The mall is vast, with over 1000 stores, an aquarium, water fall and an ice rink.
We window shopped and ate Cold Stone Creamery ice cream and Burger King burgers and fries, then caught the shuttle back to the hotel.
There followed a frenzy of packing, weighing and so on, preparatory to the nearly 14 hour flight home tomorrow.
Then we went for one last swim in the Arabian Sea, had a last drink in the pavilion by the beach and a last "hall party" supper before turning in. All Photos of the Day
